I've been looking at Disney lately, and honestly, I think it's a solid buy around $112.
The stock is up almost 19% in the last three months, but it's still basically flat for the year. Seems like there's still room to run.
Disney+ is finally looking better, the parks are doing well, and the forward P/E is around 15, which doesn't seem expensive for a company like Disney.
Analysts have an average price target around $126, so there's potentially another 12% upside. And Disney still has some of the strongest brands in entertainment.
Obviously, streaming competition and declining cable TV are real issues, but I feel like a lot of that is already priced in.
I'm not expecting DIS to double overnight, but at these levels, I think the upside outweighs the downside, especially if you're willing to hold for a few years.
