UNH has basically framed 2026 as a tougher setup (MA rate pressure, higher medical cost trend, Medicaid headwinds, plus the Change Healthcare tail). So what’s the base case here: is 2026 just a “reset” where numbers look ugly but the model stabilizes after… or is it the start of a longer margin squeeze that makes the old earnings power a thing of the past?
