Thread regarding Lockheed Martin (LMT)

I’m conflicted

Yes, the stock is up, new contracts and earnings look strong. But I’m starting to question if we’re just riding momentum while deeper risks build. Tariff wars and rising tension with potential buyer nations threatens future orders. Reliance on government spending feels both like a shield and a trap. Meanwhile, agile AI tech firms are winning the innovation race and grabbing more R&D-heavy contracts, making traditional defense giants look slow. Is Lockheed’s backlog truly sustainable, or just a last gasp before buyers diversify and tech disrupts the battlefield? I see the gains, but I worry we’re winning battles and slowly losing the war.
