Stock dropped 8% after they announced layoffs and another AI pivot. They're laying off 15% of the workforce and claiming it's all about "reallocating resources to AI." Really? That's the answer? Pinterest has been struggling to monetize users and compete in online advertising for years now, and suddenly AI is going to fix everything? Every struggling tech company is pivoting to AI these days. It's the new excuse for cutting costs and pretending there's a plan. I should've sold years ago.
