I know department stores aren’t se-y, but Macy’s, Inc. looks undervalued to me right now.
Main reasons:
The stock trades at very low multiples vs. cash flow and earnings
Solid asset value (especially real estate) that the market keeps ignoring
Ongoing turnaround: store closures + focus on stronger brands like Bloomingdale’s and Bluemercury
Still generating meaningful free cash flow despite a tough retail environment.
