Stock crashed 17%. Worst decline in nine years. AMD actually beat earnings - revenue up 34% year-over-year and crushed analyst estimates. But the Q1 guidance wasn't spectacular enough, and the market panicked. It was solid guidance, just not the blow-out numbers people were expecting to justify these insane AI valuations. And it wasn't just AMD. Nvidia dropped 4%, ARM fell 7%, Intel and Broadcom all followed down. The whole AI trade is crashing. Feels like the hype phase is over and reality is setting in. I'm down badly. Not sure if I should sell now or just ride this out and hope it recovers.
