Thread regarding Palantir Technologies (PLTR)

Am I holding overpriced hype?

Stock is trading at $177 after being down to around $152 last month. Stock surged 130% in 2025, and everyone's acting like this is normal. It's not. Here's what pi---s me off: stock is valued at a P/S ratio of 110x. That means investors are paying $110 for every dollar of revenue. Microsoft's AI division, which grew 175% last year, trades at 38x. Snowflake is at 18x. Even the most hyped AI stocks don't come close to PLTR valuation. Analysts say Palantir would need to grow revenues 1,500% over 25 years just to justify today's price. That's insane.

And what exactly does this company do? They build "AI platforms" for governments and enterprises. Sounds vague because it is. They've been around since 2003 and only became profitable a few years ago. The business model seems more like consulting than revolutionary tech, and competitors like Microsoft and Amazon are rapidly closing the gap. The valuation screams bubble, and when reality hits, this could crash hard.
