Or just the calm before more turbulence. Kohl’s just had a really solid Q report, margins up and guidance looking okay, but the stock is already slipping again. Volume’s low, so it feels like people are nervous to buy in. Maybe it’s the fear of retail being unpredictable, or that even good numbers can’t mask declining traffic and tough comps. It’s great on paper, but in reality, things can turn fast.
