CrowdStrike’s deal with F5 basically bundles Falcon and OverWatch into F5’s BIG-IP gear, and customers can use it free for now. Sounds great for visibility, but as a small shareholder I can’t ignore the risks. “Free” doesn’t guarantee conversions later, and CrowdStrike has to prove these users will actually become paying ones. There’s execution risk too, integrating security into complex network hardware can go wrong. Plus, the broader market is shaky, and companies keep tightening IT budgets. It feels like a smart move, but far from a guaranteed win.
