What worries me is that this might not signal real consolidation. AMD still faces significant structural challenges, especially overhead resistance. I’ve held the stock for a long time and would find it hard to sell because of the fantastic turnaround from a while back. It might not fully reflect the current company’s potential, but when a company pulls off a feat like that, you have to believe they have the capacity to straighten the ship.
